Abstract

Trznsvenous placement of vena caval filteration devices has become more effective alternative in the mana ;ement of patients in whom anticoagulation is contraindicated of thromboembolism recurs despite anticoagulation.
Per --utaneous transjugular placement of the Kimray-Greer field filter in the suprarenal inferior vena cava was successfully accomplished in 34-year-old female patient with recurrent pulmonary embolism, who had suffe´ ed from bilateral deep vein thrombosis.
